Abstract
L'invention concerne des compositions de verre résistant aux alcalis et des fibres de verre obtenues avec ces compositions. La composition selon l'invention renferme les oxydes suivants dans les proportions pondérales indiquées : SiO2 = 57-64 % ; ZrO2 = 19-23,5 % ; Li2 O = 0,5-2,5 %; Na2 O = 11-18 % ; K2 O = 0-6 %; RO = 0-0,5 %; Al2 O3 = 0-0,5 % et Mx Oy = 0-0,5 %, où R représente un métal alcalino-terreux, M représente un métal autre qu'un métal alcalino-terreux et x et y sont des nombres entiers positifs tels que la valence de M multipliée par x soit égale à 2y, les proportions satisfaisant aux relations définies par les expressions (1) et (2) suivantes : 21 >= Na2 O + Li2 O + K2 O >= 15,5 52 - 2 ZrO2 >= 4 Li2 O - K2 O >= ZrO2 - 21 L'invention s'applique en particulier au renforcement de matériaux cimentaires.
