L'invention concerne une composition de fibre de verre à module élevé, une fibre de verre de cette dernière et un matériau composite, la teneur de chaque composant de la composition de fibre de verre, exprimée en pourcentage en poids, étant la suivante : 43 à 58% de sio 2 ; 15,5 à 23% d'al 2 o 3 ; 8 à 18 % de mgo; supérieur ou égal à 25 % d'al 2 o 3 + mgo; 0,1 à 7,5 % cao; 7,1 à 22 % d'y 2 o 3 ; supérieur ou égal à 16,5 % de mgo + y 2 o 3 ; 0 01 à 5 % de tio 2 ; 0,01 à 1.5 % de fe 2 o 3 ; 0,01 à 2 % de na 2 o; 0 à 1,5 % de k 2 o; 0 à 0,9 % li 2 o; 0 à 4 % de sro; 0 à 5 % de la 2 o 3 + ceo 2 .
