Abstract
"FIO DE VIDRO DE REFORçO, COMPóSITO DE FIOS DE VIDRO E DE MATERIAL(AIS) ORGNICOS(S) E/OU INORGNICOS(S), PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO DE FIOS DE VIDRO, E, COMPOSIçãO DE VIDRO". A presente invenção refere-se a fios de vidro de reforço cuja composição compreende os componentes seguintes, nos limites definidos abaixo expressos em porcentagens ponderais: SiO~ 2~ 58 a 62% A1~ 2~O~ 3~ 10 a 16% CaO mais do que 18% MgO mais do que 1,5% CaO + MgO menos do que 28% Na~ 2~O + K~ 2~O + Li~ 2~O menos do que 2% TiO~ 2~ menos do que 1,5% Fe~ 2~O~ 3~ menos do que 0,5% B~ 2~O~ 3~ menos do que 2% F~ 2~ menos do que 2% esta composição compreendendo, por outro lado, menos de 1% de outro(s) componente(s) e compreendendo mais de 0,5% de, pelo menos, um dos três componentes F~ 2~~, B~ 2~O~ 3~ ou Li~ 2~O. Estes fios apresentam uma composição oferecendo um excelente compromisso entre seu custo e sua aptidão à fibragem.
