Abstract

L'invention se situe dans le secteur des moteurs à combustion en général et dans le secteur de l'acoustique. L'invention est caractérisée par la combinaison d'un premier conduit à section croissante, relié à l'échappement du moteur, avec un second conduit contenant un bulbe profilé coaxial, ledit conduit et ledit bulbe comportant des dispositifs absorbants et résonnants et l'ensemble conduit-bulbe étant dimensionné pour ne pas augmenter la perte de charge. La structure des élements évite toute circulation intérieure des gaz chauds et permet la dilatation de ces divers éléments sans opposer de contraintes. L'invention s'applique à l'insonorisation de l'échappement des moteurs thermiques de grande puissance.
