Abstract
The heat exchanger has clustered ribbed tubes arranged parallel and connected to two collectors. This heat exchanger is used esp. as air to liquid recirculating cooler for example for cooling or circulating water or oil, in transformers or IC engines. Each tube (2) of the cluster (1) is roller to form a spiral and these spirals are stacked in parallel layers. The outside and inside ends of these tubes are connected to the collectors (4a, 4b) arranged in the centre of the spiral. The collectors are tubes with rectangular cross section projecting parallel to the common axis of the spirals. The air enters heat exchanger centrally and emerges through pags in radial direction.
