L'invention a trait au domaine de la médecine vétérinaire. Elle concerne une composition filmogène non irritante à base d'un polysaccharide hydrosoluble épaississant et d'un latex de polymère filmogène. Application au traitement de la mammite de la vache par immersion des trayons de l'animal dans ladite composition thixotrope.
