Abstract

The glass panel, for door or window frames, consists of two parallel panes of glass, separated by a spacing piece placed along the internal margins of the panes, and sealed hermetically to form an autonomous unit. Around the periphery of this unit is fixed a series of u-shaped metal profiles which are in turn covered by a series of elements made from a synthetic material and also having a U-shaped profile. At least one of these elements is adapted to form reception passages for metal fittings for the attachment of handles, hinges, reinforcing elements, etc.
