Abstract

The profiled structure, for use with sliding doors, windows etc., is pref. made of extruded metal sections. The top and bottom sections (10) form with the uprights the frame fixed to the periphery of the opening controlled by the door etc. They are mounted directly on the edges of the opening. The sections form parallel guides and supports for two or more sliding door panels. The guides are pref. integral with the bottom section but are separate from the top one, to which the respective guide is secured by suitable devices.
