Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un cycloalcanol selon lequel on fait réagir, dans une première phase, un cycloalcène avec de l'acide sulfurique alors que dans une seconde phase, on hydrolyse le produit d'addition obtenu pour former le cycloalcanol. Après la réaction du cycloalcène avec l'acide sulfurique, le mélange réactionnel est séparé en présence d'un solvant inerte pour le produit d'addition du cycloalcène et de l'acide sulfurique - lequel, dans le mélange réactionnel de la première phase, donne lieu à la séparation en couches à cause de la présence d'acide sulfurique non converti - afin d'obtenir une couche d'acide sulfurique et une couche de solvant, la couche d'acide sulfurique étant ensuite évacuée et la couche de solvant soumise à un traitement par hydrolyse. Le procédé selon l'invention est notablement convenable pour la préparation de cyclododécanol à partir de cyclododécène.
