Abstract

La présente invention concerne des acides peroxycarboxyliques et un procédé pour leur préparation. On prépare des acides peroxycarboxyliques par l'oxydation d'un acide gras avec un excès d'eau oxygénée en présence d'un catalyseur acide fort. On améliore le rendement et on réduit la durée de réaction en dispersant intimement dans tout le mélange réactionnel un solvant inerte, non-miscible avec l'eau, pour l'acide peroxycarboxylique. Le produit peut être recueilli à l'état cristallin à partir de la phase de solvant.
