Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un additif utilisable pour l'affinage de la fonte. Il comprend au moins un métal choisi parmi le magnésium, le calcium et l'aluminium et au moins un oxyde metallique choisi parmi l'oxyde de magnésium, l'oxyde de calcium et l'oxyde d'aluminium; il est obtenu par moulage de particules finement divisées liées par un liant organique polymère, cette opération étant suivie d'un traitement à une temperature inférieure à 1 100 degrés C. L'invention rend plus facile et plus efficace l'opération de désulfuration de la fonte en fusion.
