Abstract
Procédé pour la trempe d'une roue dentée comportant deux disques pourvus d'ouvertures et assemblés l'un à l'autre, et un bandage soudé à la périphérie extérieure des disques, lesdits disques étant soudés à leur périphérie intérieure avec le moyeu de la roue, procédé selon lequel la roue est chauffée dans une atmosphère de carbone jusqu'à une cémentation suffisante, puis refroidie brusquement par plongée dans un bain salin. Selon l'invention, ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que, avant le chauffage dans l'atmosphère de carbone, les disques sont renforcés par des disques auxiliaires présentant également des ouvertures et en ce que ces disques auxiliaires sont éliminés après le refroidissement brusque. Trempe de roues.
