Abstract

Procédé pour l'application d'une couche absorbant la lumière et perméable aux électrons. On dépose par évaporation sous vide une couche d'un élément de faible poids atomique sur le film recouvrant la couche de matériau luminescent de la photocathode. L'épaisseur de la couche est d'environ 1/4 lambda , lambda étant la longueur d'onde moyenne de la lumière auquel le tube sera soumis. Application aux tubes intensificateurs d'image à foyer rapproché.
