Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil pour le traitement de l'information portée magnétiquement par une carte manoeuvrée manuellement Un appareil selon l'invention comporte une fente 16 pour recevoir une carte de crédit ou autre 10 et une tête de lecture 22 pour la lecture des bits de l'information pendant le déplacement à la main de la carte, la tête de lecture étant connectée à un circuit de lecture et l'appareil comportant des détecteurs 18 et 20 pour détecter le déplacement de la carte. Un dispositif d'alarme signale à l'utilisateur que la carte n'a pas été déplacée à la vitesse minimale nécessaire pour la lecture de l'information. Application : lecture des cartes de crédit utilisées par les banques et autres organismes.
