Abstract

L'invention concerne une garniture d'étanchéité entre un piston et la paroi d'un cylindre Cette garniture 4 est disposée sur l'extrémité d'un piston 2 coulissant dans un cylindre 1. Elle comporte une première lèvre d'étanchéité 5 s'appliquant sur la paroi 6 du cylindre et une autre lèvre d'étanchéité 7 s'appliquant sur un appendice cylindrique 8 du piston. La garniture d'étanchéite 4 laisse des espaces libres 10, 11 entre elle et respectivement le cylindre 1 et l'appendice 8, et elle comporte sur la face opposée au piston des ondulations 9 circulaires coaxiales pour empêcher la formation de fissures. L'invention s'applique entre autres à la réalisation de maîtres-cylindres.
