Abstract

L'invention a pour objet une installation comportant un four tubulaire rotatif et un refroidisseur à grille relié au capot de chauffe du four où les matières sortant du four sont refroidies par de l'air soufflé sous la grille. L'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'une ou plusieurs ouvertures de prélèvement d'air à température élevée sont percées dans les parois de l'enveloppe du refroidisseur entourant la zone de chute des matières chaudes et juste au-dessus de la couche de matières formées sur la grille L'invention est applicable en cimenterie.
