Abstract

L'invention a pour objet une installation pour la fabrication du ciment par voie sèche comportant un four rotatif, un préchauffeur chauffé par les fumées du four et un autre préchauffeur chauffé par les fumées d'une chambre de combustion placée en amont du four. Le ou les étages du premier préchauffeur sont dédoublés de façon à former deux circuits indépendants aussi bien pour les fumées que pour les matières, chaque circuit étant alimenté indépendamment en matières crues et les matières ayant suivi l'un des circuits sont introduites dans les étages suivants du premier préchauffeur tandis que celles ayant suivi l'autre circuit sont introduites dans le second préchauffeur. L'invention est applicable en cimenterie.
