Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'oxydation des monosaccharides. Selon ce procédé, les monosaccharides sont oxydés par un gaz contenant de l'oxygène en présence d'un catalyseur particu-lier au palladium fixé sur du carbone, préparé par adsorption de palladium sur du carbone activé à une température inférieure à 60 degrés C tandis que le carbone activé est en suspension dans une solution aqueuse d'un hydroxyde ou carbonate de métal alcalin, et réduction du palladium avec du formaldéhyde.
