Abstract

En un procedimiento de oxidación de monosacáridos, que consiste en poner en contacto un mono sacárido con un gas que contiene oxigeno, en presencia de un catalizador, la mejora que consiste en que el catalizador es un catalizador de paladio en carbón preparado por adsorción de paladio sobre carbón activo, a una temperatura inferior a 60ºC, mientras dicho carbón activo está suspendido en una solución acuosa de un hidróxido o carbonato de metal alcalino y después reducción del paladio con una solución acuosa de formaldehido.
