Abstract

On fabrique un acier présentant une décarburation réduite, en déposant par métallisation, par exemple par aluminiage, sur l'extérieur de la pièce-machine en acier, un revêtement superficiel, protecteur, adhérent et éliminable avant le chauffage de cette pièce en vue d'un travail à chaud et/ou d'un recuit; l'invention concerne également les produits métallisés avec ce revêtement ainsi fabriqués. Utilisation du procédé pour des billettes semi-finies par exemple.
