Abstract

Procédé pour le traitement des particules pigmentaires d'oxyde inorganique comportant un revêtement de surface contenant de l'alumine. Ce procédé comporte le traitement des particules de pigments ayant reçu le revêtement, à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs hydroxy-acides organiques solubles dans l'eau ou des sels solubles dans l'eau de ces acides et un ou plusieurs alcools dihydriques ou polyhydriques solubles dans l'eau, ou à l'aide d'un produit de réaction soluble dans l'eau d'un ou de plusieurs hydroxy-acides organiques dibasiques ou polybasiques avec un ou plusieurs alcools dihydriques ou polyhydriques. Application notamment au traitement de TiO2 servant de pigment pour des peintures du type émulsion et du type à base organique.
