L'invention est relative à une composition aqueuse de revêtement La composition renferme, comme l'un des constituants du véhicule, un sel hydrosoluble que l'on obtient en neutralisant au moins partiellement par un composé basique une résine modifiée B que l'on a obtenue en amidant ou en imidant un produit d'addition A formé par un polybutadiène liquide contenant au moins 50 % de structure cis-1,4 avec un composé dicarboxylique à insaturation éthylénique. La composition est applicable à la protection d'articles métalliques.
