Abstract
Catalyseur contenant de 10 à 30 % en poids de nickel sous forme d'oxyde de nickel, de 20 à 60 % en poids de calcium sous forme d'oxyde de calcium, 10 à 70 % en poids d'aluminium sous forme d'oxyde d'aluminium et contenant moins de 1 % en poids de bioxyde de silicium. Le catalyseur est préparé en utilisant, comme matière de départ pour le composant nickel, de fines particules d'oxyde de nickel obtenues en chauffant un composé de nickel qui est décomposé en oxyde de nickel par chauffage à une température comprise entre 400 degrés et 800 degrés C en présence d'oxygène; comme matière de départ pour le composant calcium, l'ozyde de calcium lui-même ou un composé de calcium qui est décomposé en oxyde de calcium par chauffage, et comme matière de départ sur le composant aluminium, du ciment à l'alumine de grande pureté. Le catalyseur est préparé en mélangeant et malaxant les matières de départ avec de l'eau, en les moulant puis en maintenant la composition du catalyseur en atmosphère de forte humidité, à une température comprise entre 5 degrés et 35 degrés C, pendant plus d'un jour pour hydrater et durcir le ciment, puis en la frittant à une température comprise entre 550 degrés et 1200 degrés C.
