Abstract

The casing (1) houses two distinct valves. The first valve (4) is a non-return valve which is pivoted about an axis (5) and operates under the action of a spring (20). This valve is kept fully opened by means of the tie rod (10) which has a joint (4) coupling it to the forked end (8). The second valve in the casing is a butterfly valve carried on the spindle (12), which is held in bearings (14). The valve may be positioned by means of the lever (23). A by-pass line is effected by means of the valve (26) in the passage (25). This valve is opened against the spring (27).
