Abstract

Dispositif d'irradiation permettant d'obtenir des faisceaux d'irradiation (électrons ou photons) homogènes, bien centrés, de dimensions bien déterminées, et dont la dose d'irradiation est contrôlée automatiquement. Ce dispositif comprend un accélérateur de particules, un doublet magnétique de focasilisation associé à un premier correcteur de centrage, un système de déviation (0 - 270 degrés ) stigmatique et achromatique, un écran muni d'une fente de sélection d'énergie, un deuxième correcteur de centrage, une cible escamotable associée à un système d'escamotage auquel est couplé le système d'ouverture de la fente, un dispositif de balayage du faisceau et un système de collimation. Application : radiothérapie.
