Abstract
Suivant l'invention, des compositions de cermet ayant une résistance élevée à l'oxydation à de hautes températures, et une bonne résistance à l'abrasion et à l'usure, et particulièrement adaptées à la production de corps isolants en cermet résistant aux hautes températures, sont constituées d'un métal ou d'un alliage métallique résistant aux hautes températures, de préférence des particules de molybdène ou de tungstène, dispersées dans, et liées à une solution solide formée d'oxyde d'aluminium et de nitrure de silicium, et en particulier une solution solide ternaire formée d'un mélange d'oxyde d'aluminium, de nitrure de silicium et de nitrure d'aluminium. L'invention concerne egalement de nouvelles compositions céramiques constituées dune solution solide frittée d'oxyde d'aluminium, de nitrure de silicium et de nitrure d'aluminium. Les compositions de cermet sont particulièrement appropriées pour fournir des revêtements refractaires résistant aux hautes températures sur des substrats métalliques, de préférence des substrats de molybdène ou de tungstène.
