Abstract

Procédé pour la préparation d'acide sulfurique à partir d'acides résiduaires contenant du sulfate de fer que l'on obtient lors de la lixivation à l'aide d'acide sulfurique de matières contenant du TiO2 . Selon l'invention on ajoute du sulfate de fer solide riche en eau de cristallisation (sel vert) à un mélange d'acides résiduaires concentrés à 25-55 % en H2 SO4 par chauffage et un filtrat concentré à 45-70 % en H2 SO4 . Le procédé permet d'utiliser de manière plus économique les résidus de lixiviation de TiO2 provenant notamment d'ilménite, en réduisant la pollution.
