Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un produit pour plâtrage obtenu à partir de sulfate ferreux. b. La fabrication de ce produit comprend la formation d'un mélange de réaction consistant essentiellement en sulfate ferreux, l'acide libre éventuellement présent ayant été neutralisé, et en un ou plusieurs composés de calcium choisis parmi le carbonate de calcium, l'hydroxyde de calcium et l'oxyde de calcium, dans un milieu aqueux, et le chauffage du mélange de réaction en présence de vapeur d'eau à une température supérieure à 100 degrés C et sous une pression supérieure à la pression atmosphérique. c. Le procédé donne un plâtre de bonne qualité en utilisant comme matière première un produit résiduaire gênant obtenu dans de nombreuses fabrications importantes (décapage à l'acide sulfurique par exemple).
