Abstract

Procédé et appareil de formation de bandes de fibres. Les fibres sont envoyées pneumatiquement et de haut en bas dans un dispositif séparateur qui contient un ou plusieurs tambours peigneurs frottant sur des plaques perforées cintrées et retirant des fibres la poussière et les matières étrangères, qui sont éliminées par aspiration, ces fibres tombant dans une trémie Des tapis convoyeurs transportent ensuite les fibres à la partie supérieure d'une chambre d'expansion qui contient deux tapis de compression perforés et superposés. Les fibres tombent dans cette chambre jusqu'à un passage à section rétrécie dans lequel une dépression est exercée.
