Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation des nitriles aromatiques, et plus précisément, un procédé de préparation du phtalonitrile. La procédé de préparation du phtalonitrile consiste à faire réagir l'o-xylène avec l'ammoniac en présence d'un catalyseur ou de son mélange avec des gaz inertes et d'un catalyseur en tant duquel on utilise un mélange d'oxydes de bismuth, d'antimoine, de molybdène et de chrome, pris dans un rapport molaire de 1 à 15/1 à 10/0,5 à 5/0,5 à 20 respectivement, ou un mélange d'oxydes de bismuth, d'antimoine, de molybdène et de vanadium, pris dans un rapport molaire de 1 a 20/1 à 10/0,1 à 15/1 à 20 respectivement, déposés sur un support. On effectue la réaction à une température de 350 à 550 degrés C avec isolement subséquent du produit visé. L'invention permet d'augmenter le rendement en phtalonitrile par un litre de catalyseur et par heure, grâce à une productivité et une sélectivité accrues du catalyseur. L'invention trouvera l'application dans la production de la matière première utilisée pour préparer les pigments, colorants, laques, stabilisants, etc.
