Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'un papier composite multicouches. On prépare une couche support de fibre cellulosique et d'une résine thermoplastique, la résine représentant au moins 15 % du poids sec combiné de la fibre et de la résine, et une couche extérieure de fibre cellulosique appliquée en superposition sur au moins une face de la couche support dans une opération de formation de feuille. On presse à chaud la feuille composite résultante, à une température au moins égale au point de ramollissement de la résine thermoplastique. L'invention s'applique particuliérement à la fabrication de papier composite possédant d'excellentes caractéristiques d'écriture et d'impression
