Abstract

L'invention concerne, à titre de composé nouveau, le 1,1-dioxyde d'acide 3,4-dihydro-2-méthyl-4-oxo-2H- 1,2-benzothiazine-3-carboxylique. On obtient ce composé par hydrolyse en présence d'ions hydroxyde, de l'un de ses esters alkyliques ou aralkyliques, suivie d'une précipitation de l'acide à un pH inférieur à 6,0. Le nouveau composé de l'invention est intéressant à utiliser comme composé intermédiaire dans la production d'agents anti-inflammatoires tels que le 1,1-dioxyde de N - (2 - pyridyl - 3,4 - dihydro - 2 - méthyl - 4 - oxo - 2H - 1,2- benzothiazine - 3 - carboxamide et l'analogue N-(2-thimolylique).
