Abstract

The sealing cap is designed for cases or flasks containing medicines or dangerous products so that it cannot be removed by accident. It consists of a supple ring (4) which fits over the stopper (3) of the container (1). The ring has a cylindrical wall (5) terminated at the top by a supple lip (7)which fits over the stopper and terminated at the bottom by a thick lip (6) which fits firmly under the collar of the container. To an unaware observer the cap appears to only one piece but it cannot be pulled off and attempting to unscrew it merely rotates the sealing ring. The cap is removed by prising the top lip of the sealing ring over the rim of the stopper.
