Abstract
The temperature transducer is for use with direct heating equipment, which consists of a shaped gas filled capillary which monitors both the heating element and incoming air temperatures, and which operates a power supply switch. a narrower dead zone can be obtained than with traditional transducers. The transducer consists basically of a gas filled capillary tube (15) which runs along a U shaped heating element (4, 5) and is fixed to it with a clip, and also along the air intake space of a heater. the capillary is attached to and operates an ON-OFF switch (12) which supplies power to the horizontally mounted vertically array of U shaped heating elements.
