Abstract

The footlight assembly component consists of a body with two sidewalls (4, 5) joined together by a transverse panel (6) equipped with means for accommodating an electric light bulb socket. One end of the body has means (13) for assembling it to the end of an identical one. The body (3) can be of U-section, the base of the U having a large port in it (10) through which the bulb (9) is inserted. The arms of the U are joined together at an intermediate point by the transverse panel, in which there is a hole for the bulb socket in line with the port. There may be bosses on the face of the transverse panel at one end, while at the other is an offset tongue with holes in which the bosses fit.
