Abstract

The signal lamp is for a motor vehicle, and consists of a housing with a transparent cover accommodating a bulb with electrical connections. On the side of it are electrical connector pins, by means of which several other lamps can be supplied simultaneously. There may be two pairs of pins, on the same or opposite sides, and connected to the inside of the lamp by a metal strip. The pins can be female, formed by rolling the ends of the strip, and they can be situated inside the lamp base, set back from and in line with openings formed in the side of it.
