Abstract

The lamp has five or more bulbs in a metal housing, and connected in parallel. It has a first male (10) terminal and a second female one (6) at right angles to its rear face, which both connect it to the electric supply and secure it to its mounting. Each bulb can have a base and a conductor capsule constituting the two terminals, the base being in contact with the housing, while a spring mounted at one end on conductor plate presses against the capsule. The housing can have cooling vanes also usable as grips when fitting and removing.
