Abstract

The ignition circuit has an energy source (10) connected to the spark plug at present intervals. One terminal of the pulse generator (20) is coupled to the tapping (23) of a voltage divider consisting of a resistor (24) and a diode (25) The electronic switch that connects the energy sources to the spark gap circuit (ignition transformer) consists of a thyristor (18) whose gate is coupled via the pulse generator sensor coil (21) to the divider tapping. The thyristor and divider diode cathodes are connected to the same supply pole.
