Abstract

A ring (8) to grip a coin or similar article so that it can be suspended from a cord or chain around the neck or attached to a bracelet has an integral locking device by means of which it attached to the chain or bracelet. The main ring or frame is a split ring (8) with a foot (9, 10) each side of the gap. Each foot supports a curved portion (13, 14) forming the two halves of a small loop which retains the eyelet on the end of the chain or bracelet when held together. A locking sleeve (16) which must first be threaded over the chain, is then pushed over the two halves (13, 14) to clamp them together.
