Abstract

The tap has a head (2) through which passes a stem (3) with a handle (4) at its upper end. The stem has a thread (5) and an annular shoulder (6) at its lower end, a disc (7) bearing against the shoulder. The disc is freely rotatable on the stem and mounts a flexible member (8) cooperating with an orifice forming a valve seat. The flexible member (8) is moulded directly on the disc (7) in a manner to simultaneously envelope the shoulder of the stem. In the fully open position of the tap, the flexible member bears against the lower portion of the head.
