Abstract

The locking device for preventing the rotation of a fixing screw has a threaded element (5) which is received in a bore of the screw (2), the threaded element has a frustoconical head (1) which is received in a complementary cavity in the screw, this cavity having its walls (3) radially split along two perpendicular planes. The outer end of the threaded element is provided with a slot for a tightening tool. The pitch of the thread and the angle of the frustoconical head are chosen to ensure that rotation of the screw does not occur.
