Abstract

The device is for cleansing water closet pans and seats in hospitals, factories, offices etc., and constitutes a shallow cylindrical vessel (101) which is placed with a peripheral seal (107) over the closet i.e. sitting on the top horizontal edge (102) of the pan. This vessel (101) contains motors and conduits etc., for the spraying and direction of water and drying gases over the seat surface and into the pan. The vessel has an open base contains an inner similarly shaped member (106) forming an annular space between its lower periphery and the pan seat; its functions being to direct water spray from nozzle (102) onto the seat and into the pan, and gas from source (103) down and across the seat surface.
