Abstract

The burner equipment handles straw or similar material in bales, having a precombustion chamber with means for injecting primary air, and into which the bales (6) are progressively introduced. The chamber houses a burner in which gas combustion continues with the introduction of secondary air. The bales can be fed in through a passage in which they fit closely, so as to give a joint as airtight as possible. The precombustion chamber can be cylindrical, the bales being fed in tangentially and the combustion gases discharged axially. The passage can enter the chamber downstream of where the primary air is injected.
