Abstract

The container is made from a single sheet of cardboard which is scored and folded to make a carton with an integral lid. The base of the carton (3) has two tabs (4) which are stuck onto the sides (2). The front (1) and the rear (5) are integral with the base. The lid has a top flap (9), a front flap (12), and two side flaps each formed by two flaps (10, 13) glued together. Each flap (10) has a slot (11). The sides of the box (6) extends under the lid and have projecting lugs (8). These lugs will fit into the slots (11) in the lid when the lid is shut, thus holding the lid closed.
