Abstract

The packing box for a round cheese (10) has a square base (13) and two integral sides (12,12') folded upwards along a common seam. The ends (19) are also integral with the base. The tabs (23) are folded inwards along the sides and the flaps (21) are folded over the tabs. The lid (14) is sealed against the edge flap (16) and the tabs (26) are folded to rest upon the top of the cheese. The boxes may be stowed flat before assembly and filling with the two end pieces folded inwards and flat.
