Abstract

On each side frame is a bearing plate (15), through the centre of which is the plough beam shaft (1). The beam (2) can rotate about this on sleeves (3). Near the bearing plate is a housing (5) with a spiral cam bearing surface (5a), a sliding bolt (6) in this housing having an arm (10) held in contact with the cam by a spring (7, 8, 9). A link (11) connects the arm to a lever and handle (12a, 12b) which, when pulled downwards (F), slides the arm against the cam surface to disengage the locking pin. This permits the beam (2) to be rotated 180 deg. and locked in a hole (16a) on the other side.
