Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of noises in a one-way rotation transferring mechanism by providing either the driving body or driven body with a ratchet wheel and a friction substance and the other with pawls and leg pieces linked with said pawls so that engagement between said wheel and said pawls is dissolved in reverse rotation.
CONSTITUTION: On the periphery of a driving body 7 a ratchet wheel 11 is provided and on the end surface on the side of a driven shaft 2 a friction material 12 is provided. On the side surface of a driven body 13 a pair of pawls 14 are pivotably provided being held by pins 15. Leg pieces 17 are linked and secured to the pawls 14 so that the side surfaces of the leg pieces 17 contact with the friction material 12. When the driving body 7 rotates in the direction of A, the leg pieces 17 and the friction material 12 cause the pawls 14 to pivot in the direction of C and mesh with the wheel 11 to rotate the driven body 13; when the driving body 7 rotates in the opposite direction D, the pawls 14 pivot in the direction of E, so that their engagement with the wheel 11 is completely dissolved. Thereby, generation of clicking noises in reverse rotation as well as deterioration of reliability due to abrasion can be prevented.
