Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate noise produced at the time of power transmission, by making the power transmission mechanism so composed that a driven rotary plate is turned contactless by virtue of the repulsive action or adsorptive action of a copolar magnet when a driving rotary plate is turned.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary plate 1 to be turned by a driving shaft 3 is toothed like a gear and each gear tooth 2a, 2b is polarized with N. A driven rotary plate 4 held by a shaft 6 is also toothed and each gear tooth 5a, 5b is polarized with N, too. As the driving rotary plate 1 is turned in the arrow A direction, its tooth 2a is shifted to approach to the tooth 5a of the driven rotary plate 5, but the tooth 5a is shifted in the B direction because of the repulsive force of magnet and moves toward the tooth 2b. The repulsive action also works between the teeth 2b, 5a to keep the teeth 2a, 5a, 5b, etc always at equal distances.
