Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a long rectilinear feed with a small-sized device by utilizing two cam gears such as cylindrical cams and interlocking the cam gears through a slider. CONSTITUTION:With a drive shaft 7 rotated by a motor or the like to rotate cylindrical cams 10 and 10' through the function of a ball spline 11 and a spline groove 7b, the cam 10 moves in the direction of arrow B because a fixed roller 5 fixed to a housing 2 is in engagement with a cam groove 10a. Attending on the displacement of the cam 10, a slider 13 is displaced over a stroke of 2A in the direction of arrow B because a roller 15 at one end of the slider 13 is in engagement with the cam groove 10a. By this, the cam 10' is displaced over a stroke of 3A due to the addition of its own displacement, so that an output plate 19 engaged with the cam groove 10'a of the cam 10' through a roller 17 is displaced over a stroke of 4A.
