Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the miniaturization of a cam mechanism by constituting it providing a driven member, which is slided in its one part and moved by turning and eccentrically moving a rotary cam, in its guide so as to move the driven member while eccentrically move the rotary cam itself. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 4 is rotated in a direction of an arrow head B, a cam 1 rotates in the direction of an arrow head C, sliding an engaging pin 10 in accordance with a guide 2, and a driven member 12 moves in the direction of an arrow head D. Simultaneously the cam 1, sliding a fixed pin 7 and another guide 2, is eccentrically moved in the direction of an arrow head E with an axis 3 serving as the center being associated with an arm member 5. The cam 1, when it is driven rotating in the direction E, is returned to the original condition. Accordingly, a moving distance X of the driven member 12 by its reciprocating motion in both directions A is obtained by adding a moving distance of the guide 2 on the cam 1 to a moving distance of the cam 1 itself. Consequently, since a cam of almost half size is only required for obtaining the same moving distance as compared with in the past, the miniaturization of a cam mechanism can be promoted.
